About Us

Kenny was the most genuine person anyone could know. He hired me (Jim) in 1989 at La Gondola in Crystal, MN. The name changed to Sweet Taste of Italy when I bought the restaurant. Over the next 20 years, Kenny would always come and check on me. He was as proud as a father, until May 10th, 2019 when he lost his battle to cancer.

At that time we were building a food truck with a different name. That day our truck was renamed to honor Kenny and his family.
